As a first time customer , I did my best to follow rules in the contract , provided 4 oil change documents in the past 5 months . I took my vehicle to certified shop to have estimate of repair per request , gave my handbook with contract in it to shop owner to help follow contract rules . The shop called me with a request to grant permission to do a 500.00 tear down for estimate of repairs . I gave permission to start the process , the shop I felt were in communication with carshield due to the request from car shield for me to give authorization to tear down . Next step was waiting on inspection of needed repairs to vehicle , the inspection took place and by this time the shop had already made repairs to vehicle due to it being there 7-10 days . The inspector saw worn parts and told shop it would not be a problem , we’ll car shielddenied the legimate claim because work had already BEEN COMPLETED
I am out the full claim amount of 1600.00 , so I cancelled policy
They will find a way to deny your claim so don’t spend the money trying to cover your car regardless what you see on TV , Big Scam
