Dr. Sondheimer thoroughly evaluated my very advanced cataracts, clearly explained everything and answered all of my questions. I was especially fortunate that Dr. Sondheimer had the expertise and experience to successfully do a procedure not commonly taught or performed in the U.S. anymore, turning a high risk surgery into a low risk surgery on my most advanced cataract. He also listened and responded to my concerns about sedation with compassion and skill, adjusting the anesthesia to fit my individual needs. The surgeries on both eyes were painless and without complications, and the results are life changing. Within a day after each surgery, my vision was clear and it feels like a miracle to see colors and details again.
