We may have used Childers Door Service of Central IL many years ago, this would have been 20 years or so. I'm certain that is why we called them to come out and take a look at our garage door. We were having an intermittent problem with the remote control and keypad to open and shut the door. Sometimes they would work and sometimes they wouldn't. We were sure that it was going to be a huge expense.

The service technician who came out was super nice and he promptly grabbed his ladder and set it up underneath the light, he took the light cover off and took out the "energy-efficient" bulb that we had put in it. He put a standard bulb in its place and told us to hit our remote and keypad. Walla! It worked! I could hardly believe it! He explained that the energy-efficient bulbs had a mechanism in them that resulted in our remotes and keypad not working. We could hardly believe it! We were so happy! It ended up with just a service call!

We really want them to know how happy they made us and how much we appreciate their knowledge and saving us money. Terrific service! We will absolutely use them again if we ever have any trouble with the garage door!
