Great service from Tom, crew had some opportunities.
Tom, my sales representative and project manager was great to work with, from start to finish.
However, a little disappointed overall with the job. Aspenmark was actually the most expensive of the bids I took, but the fact that their customer reviews were so strong, that they had Master Certification with GAF/ELK, and that they are in the solar business and I'm considering adding solar panels down the road made me decide to pick them.
My disappointments in the crew follow:
Took 3 days to complete, when I had expected 1 or 2 at most.
Hit my wood pile with the trailer, tearing the cover and then did not admit to it. (Tom did take the cost of a new cover off my final bill).
Lacked attention to detail, leaving sprinkler system rain sensor detached, as well as some deflectors on the gutters out of place.
Did not clean up as well as I expected at completion of the job. No magnets dragged through yard, etc. resulting in a lot of nails, pieces of shingles, and other debris.
I suspect with the high volume of roofing jobs caused by recent hail storms, that Aspenmark needed to bring on additional crews. Perhaps I did not get one of their primary, experienced crews.
In summary, I paid more than I would have if I picked one of the other roofing companies I was considering, expecting top notch quality of work and service, but I did not receive that level of work and service.
