I highly recommend working with Ben Sawatzke with Cody Pools to design your pool. We told Ben what we wanted and he designed it exactly! He didn't try to sneak 3 LED lights into our contract or design it the way he thought it should be, he took our ideas and really listened to what we wanted and designed a beautiful pool and decking area! Ben is a very likeable guy and there is no high pressure sales or pressure to sign a contract, he designs what you want and puts no pressure on you to sign, he makes sure you are happy and really ready to move forward. One piece of advise when building a pool, have patience. Most of the pool builders in San Antonio use the same set of contractors so if weather hits or one job gets behind your job will be delayed. If you are prepared for that up front it will make your life a lot easier, but if you don't have that kind of patience then don't build an in ground pool. Also, they are the experts and there are warranties that guarantee the pool will be done right so don't question everything they do unless it really looks off, trust that they are the professionals and will make it right. Our pool took longer than expected to build but they kept us right up to date with everything and we had patience. Also, there were issues with the pool and some very minor things that weren't finished or done right but so far Cody has been nothing but professional and helpful and has sent someone out to take care of all of it as quickly as they could. They are very responsive to customers. We were lucky enough to have Fred as our building supervisor, so ask for him, and he made sure everything was done right and taken care of and any time there was an issue he kept us up to date and immediately let us know of any delays. He is a really personable guy and was fun to work with. Christine and Jessica at the Cody office are very professional and have helped us get all our issues post construction taken care of and are super friendly. Our pool is just built but we love it, it is gorgeous and so far we've had a very positive experience with everyone we've worked with at Cody. At this time I would highly recommend them over other builders in San Antonio (and we got quotes from just about all of them!) Just remember to ask for Ben!!!
