SELLS FAULTY PARTS. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
DO NOT buy an engine block from this company. They sold us 2, that's TWO bad engine blocks. Rock Auto admitted to the poor state of the first block and replaced with the second that failed after only 4000 miles. Their only offer was to replace with another THIRD engine which we declined. WHO in their right mind would want to chance that?? We sent them certified mail which they never replied to directly. Their only communication was online through our complaint to the Better Business Bureau. WEAK CUSTOMER SERVICE. Furthermore, Rock Auto DOES NOT back their products. These engines apparently came from one of their manufacturers, ATK and instead of refunding our money as requested, they shifted all blaim to ATK. We provided proof of statements and invoices from certified mechanics indicating the poor, faulty condition of both engines. Rock Auto claims that "an ATK technician provided pictures showing non-manufacturer issues" but never provided copies of these "pictures" to us when requested. POOR PRODUCTS. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Don't lose money like we did by buying anything from this company. #rockauto_partsarebad
