I have made several purchases over the last year totaling hundreds of dollars
I have been using Rockauto for sometime now and have found that they stand by what they sell. They offer a good price for there products and other companies in the USA should follow there lead and offer products at a fair price and quit acting like the Dealerships and big box stores that offer at inflated prices. I had a friend that worked at the dealership parts department and he recieved a commision on what he sold for a man with only a high school ed he made over 90k a year. And he was the front line man he said that his boss and the service writer also got a commision on the parts sold. So now we know why they are way over priced. The only trouble I have had with Rockauto parts is that they offer a product by the name of Ultrapower O2 sensors that will fail shortly after they are installed. I had mine for longer that 30 days trying to trouble shoot an o2 code thrown be the cars ecu within two weeks of install. I replace mine because the car had over 100k on it and thought it could use fresh ones to help with the milage it took me some time to chase down the wiring only to find out that there was nothing wrong with it, it was those Ultrapower o2 sensors. I called Rockauto parts and they would warranty them but would not offer a credit in order for me to purchase some Bosch. I will try again before taking the loss and buy the real OEM Bosch that work. They did say that they had not carried these for very long. I would suggest they stop the price point isn't worth your rep.(check the forums) I can only hope if they fail again that they will offer a store credit for those much needed Bosch o2 sensors.
