A complicated replacement in an old house of the main drain from the toilet, shower, sink
We had at least four different plumbers come to access a cast iron failure that was leaking everything from the toilet, the shower, the sink on from the 2nd floor to the drain into the basement.. The plumbers we called, nearly had a nervous breakdown when they discussed the complications in a house built in 1910. They either never called back or were just crazy in how they wanted to tear ups things. We have a built in pantry where the drain went through and the pantry cupboard was built into the house at least 80 years ago. I called Pride and spoke to the woman on the phone. She listened intently. You must know that the first encounter is the most important to represent a company. She listened to me and finally said, "I am sending one of our seasoned plumbers out there. " Steve arrived and was so respectful and patient, as he explained what our options were and always giving the different options. When it came to the cupboard he listened and agreed there might be a way around avoiding the destruction of the cupboard, though this meant moe time and complexity to his job. The complication was that the beautiful dining room was behind it and he needed to be so careful in cutting the big pipe. When he came back, it was like having a top quality surgeon removing a problem with the least amount of damage. His precision was almost surgical. I just will say, and we have surgeons in our family, what a job he did. I swear that I hope we will never have such an issue again, but Pride is our go to now.
Thank you. If anyone needs to call me or Robert on our extraordinarily lovely experience with them, call Pride Plumbing and ask if you can talk to us. That being said, my dad taught me everything about skilled maintenance, so I know plumbing. If you think this is crazy glowing review, please know we went through four different plumbers, but Pride came through and they were amazing. That is all we can say. Robert S and Laurie K Brighton.
