I bought my area rugs once my kids were going off to college. So they didn't have Hawaiian Punch stains on them, just decades of tracked-in dirt and dust. Still...it was over 30 years worth! And now they look great!
I thought the company was very honest when they told me that olefin rugs do not regain the softness of a new rug once they are shampooed. However, the upside to that type of rug is that they do not fade. They are now nice and bright and making me very happy.
