Service Charge scam

I called Metro to locate my sewage pipes and to run the camera to see where pipes were leading to. Metro plumbers came out crawled underneath my house and stayed under for less than two minutes. The plumbers told me they couldn’t locate my sewage and would dig in the area which they believe they were for $1600. They didn’t guarantee anything, didn’t find my pipes nor ran any cameras. They still charged me $69 just for coming to my house and doing absolutely nothing. I’m

I'm sorry your feel the service fee is unreasonable. This is standard in our industry and every company has a cost of doing business. We charge a straight-forward price to come to your home, while other companies hide their fee in the first hourly charge. This was completely explained to you prior to scheduling the job. The tech for more than an hour came out, crawled under the home, saw that all the plumbing had been removed and after not finding any access point to run a camera, gave you complete pricing to complete the job. He also explained to you where the pipe appeared to exit the house and marked the spot for you. In order to camera a line to see where it goes to the main, there must be a proper entry point the camera can go through and there is not one at this time.
