This was our first time using Cooper and it was for a seasonal heating system inspection. For the past six years we have had an annual contract with a competitor for the same service. Last year, we cancelled the other company as we had become disgusted with their tactics. Every time they came out for an inspection they "found" some major component that was about to fail and needed to be replaced immediately. On the last visit from them they were determined that we needed a new furnace. They also sent along a salesman on every service call along with the technician to put the pressure on. We had just had enough.

The Cooper inspection visit was a breath of fresh air. They were on time, actually early, but they called ahead to let us know. They immediately put on booties and headed to the furnace. They gave us a thorough explanation of what all they inspected, tested or measured and provided a written follow-up summary along with photos of all components and meter readings for air-flow rates and other critical measurements. They recommended that we drop our paper air filter to a slightly lower MERV rating so as to help increase air flow. They were just super professional and courteous. We immediately signed up for the annual service contract with Cooper.
