My husband, five kids, and I spent the weekend at this campground in July 2024. We were nervous after reading negative reviews. For context, we camped for 3 days in our 17 foot hybrid camper. Even though we did not get to choose our own camp spot, the spot we had was perfect for us. It had electric and water. We did not use the water as we had filled up our fresh water tank which can last 3 days. Right outside of our camper was a large area with three covered gazebos with fire pits. This worked out great for a play area for the kids while still being on sight of the camper. There is a mixture of short term and long term campers which didn’t cause any issue. The bathrooms were typical camp bathrooms. There are several bath houses/bathrooms throughout the property. They are not 5 star hotel rated bathrooms but they are decent for camp bathrooms. The pool was awesome for the kids and we even got a visit from the camp mascot. There are several shops and food places on site. The best part of the campground was the kids play zone in a large field. It had a rock wall, bouncy houses, basketball courts, volleyball courts, horseshoes, table tennis, large slides, and other cool attractions for the kids. It was like being at a carnival or county fair (free). We had planned on visiting the Indianapolis Children’s Museum two days in a row but ended up skipping the second day because the kids were having so much fun at the campground with all the free provided amenities. On our last day as we we were packing up the camper, campground staff arrived at our site with a tractor and tank and drained our black and gray water tanks which saved us time and was a nice surprise. We would recommend this campground to others and plan on returning in the future.
