Technician arrived and found the $300 problem right away (relay). Replaced that and I asked him to check the Freon while he was here. He hooked it up and said it was giving a false reading of low because it had frozen up during the night while running constantly. The breaker had been turned off for more than an hour and with the temp outside at 90+ degrees, it had thawed. Now it barely blows cool air and takes about four hours to cool down when we get home in the evening. I will have to pay another service fee for someone to come out and add Freon; but it won't be this company.
