Purchased a new electric furnace due to older unit no longer functioning. The work was done in a few hours and the new unit blow and heats better than the old unit. The only downside is the old unit had a cover plate built in and the new unit does not. Since this is located in a hallway I have an open 'cabinet' area where the furnace resides that the children can get into and get into working. I upgraded on recommendation to a unit that is heat pump ready which I am glad we did, however that altered the dimension so how the heat pump pipe is about one inch passed the wall opening. So I now have the additional work of building an enclosure which will protrude out into the hallway. It would be 5 stars across the board if we new of the dimension change and loss of the cover, now I have to invest more money and time into crafting a cover.
