Not Recommended for Overhead Door Branded Units

Unfortunate experience with FCD after reading good reviews.

Would not recommend for service on Overhead Door branded units.

Was told that repairs could be made at time of booking appointment while sharing component failure was indicated by troubleshooting. On arrival, diagnosis and $89 charge conveyed. Was then told part required is not stocked, and if I desired to have FCD replace, it would be another $89 charge for labor, plus cost for part... during another appointment. Other options were presented (more costly options) for immediate resolution...

Office staff didn't seem to care on questioning of matter. Why would they, cash in hand. Customer can sort out the issue.

Lesson learned. Call the local authorized dealer/distributor first who can fix and resolve the issue correctly the first time.
