We called about our air conditioner making unusual noise whenever it was running. It had begun doing this very recently. The repairman found that the unit was not draining properly and had iced up inside the home recently. He installed a safety switch to keep the drain problem from recurring. Also cleared the blockage in the drain tubes. However, the noise is still with us. He indicated that he could do nothing to correct this problem.
