Like most online shoppers, I was cautious about ordering large ticket items over the Internet. I put in a little over 1600sf of clear grade Brazilian teak, 3.25”, 1’-7’, prefinished and am happy to let you know that all the claims made on the flooring.org site are accurate. My first order was only enough for two rooms. I wanted to make sure the customer service was good and the product lived up to its clear rating. The first order took a little over 3 weeks to get to me. We let the wood acclimate in the house for about a week. The product was excellent. I did not receive any unusable pieces and have experienced very little shrinkage installing the floor. I followed the first order up with two more to complete the project. The service and sales people are easy to contact and quick to respond. I also put teak on a stairway with 3 landings. One of the stair nosing pieces for the landings had some damage in shipment. Flooring.org rushed through a replacement piece for me and made the entire replacement process effortless. If you’re looking for quality teak flooring at a reasonable price and sales staff that are easy to access and motivated to help, this is the right place for you.
