Some Hits... Some Misses...

Kitchen remodel with 25 doors, a lazy susan, 9 drawer fronts, and all new soft-close hinges. I called to ask about the lazy susan opening and to confirm my measurements, and was told that I needed a different size than I measured. Order was placed and received within the estimated lead time. Upon receiving order, one door damaged. Took pics and emailed - new door would be on its way within 10 days. Doors installed easily. One upper door was warped about 1/4", but apparently they don't warranty that on painted doors, so I'll live with one bad fit. I also screwed up one door by mounting the hardware in the wrong spot, so I had to re-order that for $150+ shipping... #LessonLearned
My main negative issue comes with the lazy susan doors which were the wrong size. The size I had measured would have been correct (after ripping the too large doors down and re-boring them they fit perfectly, but not symmetrical verticals), so I re-ordered new doors ($140+ shipping). I put my issues in the comments - fingers crossed that they might make some offer to help me out with what was essentially their mistake. Overall 3 stars, but with making everything right could move to 4 or 5, as the quality is quite decent for the price (a little over $2000 for the entire project).

That would be great. I’ll also take the warped door off and measure it this weekend. A photo will follow.
I will also update the reviews to reflect your offers and adjustments.
I’ve been crazy busy, so I apologize for the delayed response.
Thanks again,
Jay and Kim Gullickson

Hi Jay,
To report a warped door please send us a picture of the door resting on a flat surface.
Take a picture of a tape measure next to the widest part of the bow, to show how much the door is warped.
If it is warped more than 1/4" then it qualifies for replacement.

*Frames and plywood insert panel doors less than 22” in width and 48” in height are warranted against warpage of more than 1/4”.
*Doors more than 22” in width and/or 48” in height are not warrantied.

How to measure cabinet doors:

There are many different ways to mount lazy susan doors.
The above link talks about two types of lazy susan doors.

The doors are 3/4" thick.
If you have the kind that mounts to the lazy susan shelving and spins around inside the opening, then one door should be 3/4 wider with a wide frame on that side.
The other door will butt up to the wider door and therefore should be 3/4" narrower.

If you have the kind that swings out, and the opening is the same width on both sides, then both doors should be the same size.
Opening width, plus 1/2” overlay, minus 3/4".

We cannot find any written communication regarding the sizes for your lazy susan doors, but this is what you ordered the first time:
1 – 10 5/8 x 27 1/2 – no bore
1 – 10 5/8 x 27 1/2 – bore

This is what you re-ordered.
1 – 10 1/4 x 27 1/2 – no bore
1 – 10 x 27 1/2 – no bore

I got approval to refund half the price of the lazy susan doors.

If you would like that, please reply with your approval and we’ll issue this refund to your credit card.
