We asked gConverter to perform a conversion of a DotNetNuke (DNN) ActiveForums site to Xenforo. I couldn't find anyone else that was willing to tackle the job, but gConverter said they would do it. We needed to do it as a "dry-run" followed by the "live-site" conversion, because honestly we didn't believe that anyone was capable of converting from DNN to...well, anything.

Their first reveal of their dry-run conversion was more than I expected. There were not very many widespread quirks, just a few related to some HTML tagging translation issues. They spent quite a bit of extra time to fix these, as well as a few other bugs, and the result was that over 99.8% of 170,000+ posts (only 301 missing, and this is probably due to some oddity in DNN - like I said, it was a dry-run) and 100% of 150,000 PMs were successfully converted into Xenforo. The PMs came from 2 different "generations" of DNN and they were able to merge them together.

After an initial evaluation of the converted database, our site members were both stunned and ecstatic that gConverter was able to pull this off, and for a very reasonable price!

We will DEFINITELY be having them perform the "live-site" conversion after we get all of our other ducks in a row.

I would recommend gConverter to anyone needing to transition from ABC to XYZ. If they can do what we asked, I would think they can do just about anything.
