The very must all female staff are very friendly, I bothered them many times shopping for glasses and there always was a wait when I would go around 5/6 pm.
However, after my eye exam, the standard one covered by my insurance, I was told when pricing contact lens, that I needed to pay an extra $100 for the lens fitting which had already been done during my exam. I found the same lenses online for less than half the cost they quoted me, much due to the “fitting fee”. When I asked for my prescription the receptionist said that they will release my prescription once I’ve paid the $100 fitting fee. I found this to be odd and upon some light research, I believe this practice to be in violation of THE FAIRNESS OF THE CONTACT LENS CONSUMERS ACT signed into effect February 4th, 2004 by President George W. Bush. There are also laws between companies regarding releasing prescriptions to make sure people are using the correct prescription so I highly recommend buying from online retailers since the optometrist basically can’t deny that release of information if you want to bypass the $100 fitting fee and save a handful of Andrew Jackson’s. It worked for me. Spend your money in your community instead of on legal jump-ropes. Peace.
