My husband and I needed to completely furnish a 2,200 sq ft condo and our choice was contemporary furniture. As there are no contemporary furniture stores in Fort Worth, we decided to go to Dallas to look at furnishings. We started with BoConcept and were very impressed with the products and with the general manager, Kristian, who listened to our needs and made recommendations. Afterwards we visited Cantoni, Crate and Barrel, Design Within Reach and Howard Gold. We returned to BoConcept that same day and told the general manager that we wanted to use their furniture for the majority of our purchases. He immediately showed us a picture of a sofa that was not in the showroom, but would be coming in a week. He felt it would be the best for us. He also offered us a significant discount based on the volume we would be purchasing. We returned in a week and decided on the sofa, 3 living room chairs, the dining table, 8 dining chairs, 4 bar stools, occasional tables, a rug, a bedroom dresser and a bedroom swivel chair. We received the quotation promptly the next day. Kristian actually drove to Fort Worth the next week to outline on the floor of the construction site all of the furniture to be sure that it would fit in the space. As it turned out, we were in the process of framing and had to change the angle of one wall on the spot that day for 2 of the living room chairs to fit with sufficient walk space. Kristian saved us from what could have been a bad experience with ordering furniture 3 months in advance and receiving it to find that it didn't fit the space. And, after 3 months the furniture was due to arrive. Again, Kristian stepped in to save what could have been a bad situation. We were finished with the condo, ready to move in and receive our furnishings when he found out the 1/2 of our order was tied up in a custom's hold in New Jersey. He was able to work through the issue and find almost all of our furniture either in the warehouse or who knows where. The bottom line is that our furniture arrived to allow us to move in at the scheduled time. Kristian has since visited us to see the furniture in its place and to recommend rugs that would work in the spaces. He has loaned us a smaller version of the living room rug that we ordered so that our space wouldn't look so bare. Since moving in we have hosted 3 parties and have received many, many compliments on the furnishings. The quality of the BoConcept design and furniture combined with the excellent care that Kristian gave us have made us totally happy with BoConcept and willing to recommend the Dallas store to all of our friends.
