We bought a small lake cabin a couple of years ago that needed a lot of updates. It was built in the fifties and hadn't had anything done to it in forty years. We started out wanting to do a lot of stuff but once we started working with TOM MADSEN LLC, he helped us whittle it down so that it fit realistically within our budget. We met with Tom multiple times and he came up with several iterations before we arrived at something we could afford. They installed new siding and doors and a new garage door. They also renovated the screened porch and added a deck. They addressed several electrical issues and added some ceiling fans to a three-season cabin without air conditioning or heat. Tom worked very closely with us and we got the contract signed right before everything shut down. Fortunately, since it was a second home, we weren't there a lot of the time and Tom's crew was able to get started and make progress. He was always available to talk on the phone and was quick to answer emails. Very easy guy to work with. There wasn't any pressure for milestone payments. I even had to ask him a few times if it was time for more money. He was a reasonable person to work with and really listened to what we told him we wanted. As we went along, small details would come up and he would price them out for us so that we could make informed decisions. My wife and I had never done a big renovation like this before and it was a big investment for us. We were both very comfortable working with TOM MADSEN LLC and extremely happy with the results. The cabin looks great and is a lot more comfortable. There are still things we'd like to get done to it. I'm glad we met Tom because we'll certainly call him for all future work!
