Unfortunate circumstances
Unfortunately they did me not so straight forward. April 2020 they replaced my garage door opener. They removed my double springs that were not broken and replaced with a single spring. I was assured it was due to the new style opener. They offer a 5 year warranty. It's all over my paperwork. The invoice didn't line item out this spring. Well the spring broke last weekend. I emailed them right away - but not an emergency so waited till Monday to contact them. At that time I was transferred to Christine who was very short right away stating this is not their spring and it's not covered by them!! I am so beyond upset with the way it's been handled. Christine said they have "before photos" I had requested a before photo of this spring attached to my old garage door opener. They have yet to provide it. Tomorrow is the last day of the 5 year warranty and I can only imagine that's the reason not to honor their work.
Christine offered a free estimate to tell me the cost to repair this. Or to send a quality guy out to explain why this is not their spring.
I WATCHED their installer put this in, take mine off and even had a very direct conversation with them on why they removed my 2 and replaced with 1. You can even see the empty space on my bar as the double springs were painted white!
Again the spring is not line itemed on my invoice (that also did not have my signature!!) but they attached a photo of the spring to the invoice as their completed work.
Beware of the "5 year warranty"
I have used this company since 2013! I have referred everyone I know to them. I have usually had great service. But I feel setup and basically called a lier and too bad so sad.
