We moved my mother from an independent care facility to Kensington Park in July. Main reason that we chose Kensington Park is that they have a group of about 7 or 8 residence who have dementia but who aren't ready to go into the full blown memory unit. The staff at Kensington Park is very involved. Everyone knows her name and our name. It is a very warm and friendly place. The people really want to be there. It doesn't seem like a job to them. More like a calling.
